VERTICAL VACUUM CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical vacuum cleaner including a dry, wet or dry and wet vertical vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: The vertical vacuum cleaner includes a telescopic type suction wand that is smoothly connected with a separator on the cleaner through a hose and is used for cleaning a position higher than the floor if necessary. The wand includes: a lower side wand section; an upper side wand section mounted on the lower side wand section by the telescopic type; and a movable locking member energized toward a locking position to lock out the wand section by the telescopic type expansion when the wand is released for use. The locking member can be released from this locking position through a reaction member provided on the cleaner, and a user can easily push out the energized locking member from the locking position with respect to this reaction member by using the wand locked out.
