PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give sufficient binding power between fitted connectors.SOLUTION: At a state that a male connector 100 is fitted into a female connector 200, a bracket 400 for fixation which is inserted into a cassette type insertion part 115 of a male housing 110 extends from an opening of a hood 215 of a female housing 210 to the outside. Then, the respective side surfaces 115a-115c of the cassette type insertion part 115 which extend in the insertion direction of the male housing 110 into the female housing 210, respectively perform surface contact to corresponding inner surfaces 215a-215c of the hood 215. By the surface contact, firm and sufficient binding power without backlash is given between the female connector 200 and the male connector 100 for the respective directions in a surface crossing the insertion direction of the male housing 110 into the female housing 210, in other words, the respective directions in the surface crossing the fitting direction of the male connector 100 into the female connector 200.
