TORQUE VARIATION ABSORBING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque variation absorbing apparatus that surely seals the space for accommodating the elastic members even if applied with a centrifugal force or cooled.SOLUTION: The torque variation absorbing apparatus includes: a center plate 23; side plates 17, 18 that are rotatably arranged with respect to the center plate 23; elastic members 34, 35 that are accommodated in a space surrounded by the side plates 17, 18 and absorb torque variations occurring between the side plates 17, 18 and the center plate 23; a cover member 25 that is fixed to the center plate 23 and covers the space, accommodating the elastic members 34, 35 therein, from the outside by being slidably brought into pressure contact with the side plate 18; and a restraining part that is capable of restraining the deformation of the cover member 25 due to pressure acting on the cover member 25 when the air pressure inside the space accommodating the elastic members 34, 35 therein becomes lower than the outside air pressure.
