Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device which has two parallel hinge shafts and materializes smooth operation feeling with a compact and simple configuration.SOLUTION: The hinge device 100 includes: first and second hinge shafts 10, 20 which are parallel with each other and are rotatable independent of each other; and first and second torque generation parts 40, 50 respectively disposed on the first and second hinge shafts 10, 20. The first and second torque generation parts 40, 50 are configured in such a manner that the first and second torque generation part 40, 50 respectively generate a first rotation torque for rotating the first hinge shaft 10 to a first angle and a first rotation torque for rotating the second hinge shaft 20 to a first angle when the first and second hinge shafts are present near the first angle, respectively generate a second rotation torque for rotating the first hinge shaft 10 to a second angle and a second rotation torque for rotating the second hinge shaft 10 to the second angle when the first and second hinge shaft are present near the second angle and generate a retention torque for retaining the hinge shaft 10 and the second hinge shaft 20 at an optional angle between the neighborhood of the first angle and the neighborhood of the second angle. The first and second rotation torques and the retention torque generated by the first torque generation part 40, and the first and second rotation torques and the retention torque generated by the second torque generation part 50 satisfy a prescribed relation.
