Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick restart of a compressed self-ignition engine with single compression starting operation at restarting the engine, by stopping a piston in a stopping compression stroke cylinder near a bottom dead center with high accuracy when automatically stopping the engine.SOLUTION: When automatically stopping the engine, the opening of an intake throttle valve is controlled so that the amount of intake air flowing into the stopping compression stroke cylinder 2C where an intake stroke exists in a range from a top dead center (2TDC) firstly previous to a final TDC as a final top dead center in each cylinder right before stopping the engine to the final TDC is greater than the amount of intake air flowing into a stopping expansion stroke cylinder 2A where an intake stroke exists in a range from a top dead center (3TDC) secondly previous to the final TDC to the top dead center (2TDC) firstly previous to the final TDC. |
