PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forklift, capable of performing further stable operation while considering the lifted height of a fork when operated to simultaneously perform lifting operation of the fork and horizontal operation of the fork.SOLUTION: The forklift 1 includes: a tilting means 60; a tilt lever 40; a tilting operation detection means 62; a lifting means 64; a lift lever 50; a lifting operation detection means 66; a lifted height detection means 80; a load detection means 90; an auxiliary switch 52; a tilt angle detection means 70; and a control means 74. When the auxiliary switch 52 is operated, the lifting operation detection means 66 detects raising operation of the fork 30, the load detection means 90 detects that a load is present on the fork 30, it is detected that the fork 30 is not horizontal based on information from the tilt angle detection means 70, and the lifted height of the fork 30 detected by the lifted height detection means 80 is a first threshold value or less, the control means 74 controls the lifting means 64 and the tilting means 60 so that the fork 30 becomes horizontal with the rise of the fork 30.
