Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure on which a battery unit is suitably mounted, without increasing manufacturing cost and vehicle weight.SOLUTION: The vehicle body structure 100 of a hybrid vehicle or an electric vehicle includes: a floor panel which constitutes a vehicle-body floor face, and in which an opening section 104 is formed; the battery unit 110 installed in the opening section 104 across the top and bottom of the floor panel; and a resin-made cover member which covers an upper side of the battery unit 110 at an upper side of the floor panel.
