The rear body structure 100 of the vehicle is provided with a rear floor panel 106 constituting the floor of the rear of the vehicle, a back panel 110 connecting to the rear end of the rear floor panel 106 and constituting the rear wall of the vehicle, an opening 114 formed at a specific area of the rear floor panel 106, a battery 112 passing through the opening 114 and installed on the rear floor panel 106, and a reinforcing member 118 installed at an area between the opening 114 of the rear floor panel 106 and the back panel 110 in a way that it extends in the vehicle width direction.
