Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a small number of copies of hard cover books consisting of a small number of pages in simple manner and at a low cost.SOLUTION: This hard cover book includes a text (1), and endpapers (2 and 3) bonded to the first page side and the last page side of the text, and a cover (4) with the face cover (4a) and the back cover (4b) bonded to them respectively in such a state that the text and the endpapers (2 and 3) are wrapped. In addition, the text is formed of a batch of accumulated leaves (1a) used as such for printing. Further, the spine of the text is solidified by a hot-melt adhesive layer (5) beforehand. Then, a round spine of projecting curved surface shape and an end of recessed curved surface shape are given to the text, and a spine solidifying part is formed on the round spine.
