PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve locking strength of a locking part 13a with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: The connector is provided with a lock movement restraining member 13c for allowing movement or displacement of a locking part 13a or a locking arm member 13b in a direction for engagement with a signal transmission medium F, and restraining the movement or displacement of the locking part 13a or the locking arm member 13b in a direction other than an allowing direction, so as to obtain a strong locking force by allowing the movement or displacement of the locking part 13b and the locking arm member 13b to be engaged with the signal transmission medium F only in a necessary direction, and preventing the movement or displacement in the other unnecessary directions.
