PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a receipt is issued to a customer who does not want to receive the receipt, paper is wasted since it is discarded without being delivered to the customer.SOLUTION: A merchandise sales data processor includes: a storage part for storing identification information for identifying an individual and an issuance condition indicating necessity of receipt issuance in correspondence; an acquisition part for acquiring the identification information; a first determination part for determining whether or not the identification information acquired by the acquisition part is stored in the storage part; and an issuance control part for, when it is determined in the first determination part that the identification information acquired by the acquisition part is present in the storage part, issuing or not issuing a receipt according to the issuance condition indicating the necessity of the receipt issuance corresponding to the identification information. The issuance control part prints and issues the receipt when it is determined in the first determination part that the identification information acquired by the acquisition part is present in the storage part and also when the issuance condition indicating the necessity of the receipt issuance corresponding to the identification information indicates that the receipt issuance is needed.
