ELECTRONIC COMPUTER AND IMAGE RETRIEVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve similar image data from stored image data.SOLUTION: In an electronic computer 1, a database 2 stores data comprising combinations of first feature quantities and second feature quantities representing features of respective images of a plurality of bodies. The database 2 stores the data comprising the combinations of the first feature quantities and second feature quantities while the first feature quantities and second feature quantities are changed each by a predetermined number. An acquisition part 3 acquires image data. A retrieval part 4 performs retrieval from the database 2. An application part 5 extracts a combination of a first feature quantity and a second feature quantity from first image data that the acquisition part 3 acquires. The application part 5 makes the retrieval part 4 perform retrieval from the database 2 based upon the combination of the first feature quantity and second feature quantity extracted from the first image data.
