Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide fiber superior in both properties of flame resistance and heat resistance, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The polyimide fiber is produced by the steps of: polymerizing at least one aromatic acid anhydride (A) represented by formula (I) (in the formula, R1 represents -(CH)- or -O-, and m represents an integer of 1-3), an aromatic acid anhydride (B) and aromatic diamine; obtaining a polyamic acid fiber by compounding them so that a ratio (weight ratio) of the aromatic acid anhydride (A) to the aromatic acid anhydride (B) becomes in a range of 95/5-15/85; and imidizing the polyamic acid fiber.
