Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition in which the increase in impurities accompanying the preparation of benzimidazole-7-carboxylic acid represented by candesartan or candesartan cilexetil or its derivative is suppressed, and reduction with time in the contents is prevented, and a method for preparing the composition.SOLUTION: The stable pharmaceutical composition can be obtained when benzimidazole-7-carboxylic acid or its derivative is blended with polyhydric alcohol. Namely, technical ethics is established that the addition of polyhydric alcohol remarkably suppresses the decomposition of effective components, suppresses the increase in impurities accompanying the preparation, and prevents the reduction with time in the contents of the effective components.
