PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform wireless receivers whether a multi-user MIMO signal transmitted from a wireless transmitter is linear precoding or nonlinear precoding, without increase in quantity of control information.SOLUTION: A wireless transmitter comprises a group configuration unit 307 which selects some wireless receivers from among plural wireless receivers to create plural groups, determines a precoding system for precoding a signal to transmit to the wireless receivers belonging to each group, on group by group basis, and gives identification information indicating the precoding system, to each group; a selection unit 315 which selects one of the groups; and a precoding unit 323 which precodes the signals to transmit to the wireless receivers belonging to the selected group, by the precoding system corresponding to the identification information given to the selected group.
