Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell, having a color tone of blue purple to blue, and having an excellent photoelectric conversion characteristic, to provide a semiconductor electrode sensitized by the dye for a dye-sensitized solar cell, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell using the semiconductor electrode.SOLUTION: A tertiary nitrogen atom of an indoline ring acts as an electron donative portion (donor) and a quaternary nitrogen atom of a benzothiazolium ring acts as an electron-withdrawing portion (acceptor), and both of them have a structure coupled by conjugated double bond. The semiconductor electrode, sensitized with a dye having the above-mentioned chemical structure and the dye-sensitized solar cell, formed by using the semiconductor electrode, are provided. |
