Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector which is capable of holding a card with certainty despite its simple structure, and which is small in size and can be easily manufactured at a low cost and with high reliability.SOLUTION: In a connector for a card having a housing for accommodating the card, and a cover member attached to the housing and defining a card accommodating cavity between the housing and the cover member, the cover member comprises: a top surface and a side edge of the card accommodated in the card accommodating cavity, opposing to a top plate part and side plate part; and a lock member for locking the card accommodated in the card accommodating cavity. The lock member is a cantilever-shaped plate spring member having a lock body part integrally connected to the top plate part and extending in an insertion direction of the card, and lock salients connected to a tip of the lock body part and projecting toward an inside of the cover member. The lock salients are fitted into an engaging recesses formed on the side edge of the card accommodated in the card accommodating cavity.
