INPUT DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND INPUT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an input device including a capacitance type touch sensor.SOLUTION: Before a control circuit part 2 determines whether or not an input operation is performed, an input device 9 determines the validity/invalidity of an input operation to an operation part in such a state that second detection information is output from a second sensor 8 on the basis of first detection information and second detection information. The second sensor 8 detects an environmental change in a specific area where it is difficult or impossible to detect the input operation to the operation part as the basis of the first detection information detected by a first sensor 7, and outputs the second detection information relating to the environmental change to the control circuit part 2. The capacitance type first sensor 7 detects the input operation to the operation part, and the first detection information simultaneously receives the influence of the environmental change. Then, the influence of the environmental change is excluded from the first detection information under the consideration of the second detection information relating to the environmental change by the second sensor 8.
