Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery suffering only a small capacity loss caused by a reaction between an electrolytic solution and an electrode in a reflow process and ensuring a large discharge capacity at 3 to 2 V after the reflow process.SOLUTION: An active material for a positive electrode 1 of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains a lithium manganese oxide and a molybdenum oxide, and the percentage content of the molybdenum oxide is equal to or higher than 20% and lower than 100% with respect to the total weight of the active material for the positive electrode.
