CONNECTOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector mounting structure causing no malfunction such as contact failure and connection failure even if external force such as vibration acts thereon and having excellent vibration resistance.SOLUTION: A peripheral device has a base for housing a receptacle in the inside thereof, a mounting recess which is bored in the base and in which the opening of the receptacle is exposed from the inner wall thereof and a plug can be housed, and a mounting lid 21 which can be fitted to the mounting recess with the mounting recess covered with it. The mounting lid 21 has: a lid body 41 brought into contact with the top face of the plug in the thickness direction thereof to hold the plug together with the bottom face of the mounting recess from the thickness direction thereof when it is fitted to the mounting recess; a coming-off prevention rib 44 extended in a direction perpendicular to the inserting direction of the plug with respect to the receptacle, and brought into contact with the rear end in the inserting direction of the plug inserted in the opening of the receptacle, when it is fitted to the mounting recess; and a connector holding rib 46 positioned in the vicinity of the opening of the receptacle and brought into contact with both end parts of the plug in the width direction thereof.
