FLUORESCENT COMPOUND AND FLUORESCENT RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent compound excellent in compatibility with a silicone resin and producible of a resin composition by a simple method, and a fluorescent resin composition containing the same.SOLUTION: The fluorescent compound is represented by formula (1), wherein R-Reach represents a substituent selected from a monovalent hydrocarbon group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a halogen atom, a hydrogen atom, an amino group, a cyano group, and a siloxane-containing group represented by formula (2): SX-A-; and Rand R, Rand R, Rand R, and Rand Reach may be bonded to each other to form a ring structure with a constituent carbon number of 5-8 including two bonding carbon atoms, provided that at least one of R-Ris the siloxane-containing group represented by formula (2); and Xand Xeach represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, or a halogen atom. In formula (2), SX is a 2-10Si organosiloxanyl group, and silicon is bonded to A; A is a bivalent hydrocarbon group; and R is a monovalent hydrocarbon group.
