Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing α-amino acid salt which avoids use of a highly toxic organotin compound, and allows the progression of carboxylation by COeven in an allylic position in addition to a benzyl position.SOLUTION: The method for producing α-amino acid salt includes: preparing an imine by reacting an α-amino sulfone compound and CsF; and adding a silyl boronate compound and by reacting the imine therewith to generate an intermediate; and reacting the intermediate with COin the presence of CsF.
