PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that functions and drive efficiency of members such as a recording medium conveyance part and a cap part decrease.SOLUTION: The liquid droplet ejection device includes an ejection head for ejecting functional liquid serving as liquid drop towards a recording medium includes a cap unit, a recording medium conveying unit and a pump unit; the cap unit contains a cap covering an ejection part ejecting the liquid drop from the ejection head, a moving part moving the cap to a preset position, and a step motor driving the moving part; the recording medium conveying unit contains a conveying part conveying the recording medium to a preset direction and a DC (direct current) motor driving the conveying part; and the pump unit contains a pump sucking the functional liquid and a DC motor driving the pump.
