Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer that can selectively perform mat printing and glossy printing using one irradiation device, and that enables the entire sub-scanning direction length of an inkjet head and the irradiation device to be made shorter.SOLUTION: A head unit 120 includes: the inkjet head 10 which ejects UV curable ink; the irradiation device 20 which irradiates the UV curable ink with UV light; and a motor 25 which rotates the irradiation device 20 about a vertical axis 26. Upon mat-printing, the motor 25 is driven to arrange the irradiation device 20 in parallel to a sub-scanning direction X, and then, the ink is ejected from the nozzles 12 of first and second nozzle groups 13a and 13b. Upon glossy printing, the motor 25 is driven to arrange the irradiation device 20 in parallel to the main scanning direction Y, then, the ink is ejected only from the nozzles 12 of the first nozzle group 13a.
