PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that allows a frame and a stator core to be less prone to being displaced relative to each other by torque applied to the stator core, without a major change in the shape of the stator core.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a frame; a stator core that is provided on an inner side of the frame and is molded with resin; a rotor core that is provided rotatably relative to the stator core; a shaft to which the rotor core is fixedly mounted; a bracket that holds the shaft rotatably and is fixed to the frame; and an engagement portion that engages the stator core and the bracket with each other so as to prevent relative rotation of the stator core and the bracket.
