PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that an angle of an illumination area is made wider and moreover to reduce luminance unevenness of a wide angle area in illumination.SOLUTION: An illumination device includes a pair of emitters including light sources which can be rotated around rotation shafts arranged in parallel as a support point respectively, between a first rotation position and a second rotation position where the respective rotation shafts separate from each other from the first rotation position and emit light respectively, and a reflector reflecting the light emitted from the light sources and opened on both sides in the axial direction of the rotation shaft; and a pair of reflection bodies arranged on both sides of the emitter in the axial direction of the rotation shaft respectively across the emitter and including reflection surfaces reflecting the light emitted from the light source respectively. In the first rotation position, at least a part of the respective openings of the respective reflectors are overlapped with the respective reflection surfaces in the axial direction of the rotation shaft; and therefore, the reflection amount of the reflection body in the second rotation position is made smaller than the reflection amount of the reflection body in the first rotation position.
