PIT COVER OPENING/CLOSING APPARATUS FOR MOVING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practicable pit cover opening/closing apparatus for a moving body, capable of performing pit cover opening/closing operation efficiently with low noise and stably and smoothly over a long period of time without using a wire rope or cable.SOLUTION: A pedestal arm 1 having a pedestal surface 5 formed in rectangular shape in a plan view and including a horizontal surface 5a and inclined surfaces 5b, 5c inclined downward from both ends of the horizontal surface 5a, is led out of the moving body side and arranged in a pit 8, and a guide bar 2 with a circular cross section formed in arcuate shape orthogonal to the traveling direction of the moving body and bulging in an opposite direction to the moving body in a plan view is disposed on the pedestal surface 5. When the moving body travels, pit covers 9 slidingly move on the guide bar 2 to operate the pit covers 9 to open/close sequentially.
