PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage device that uses a semiconductor memory for a storage part, in which generation of a storage area unavailable for storing information is suppressed.SOLUTION: An information storage device of an embodiment comprises: a semiconductor memory; and management means. The semiconductor memory includes a storage area for storing information. The management means performs management so as to exclude storage areas in the semiconductor memory, which cause two or more read errors, from use for information storage.
