METHOD FOR PROCESSING FLOORING FOR KEEPING PET INDOORS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a flooring for keeping a pet indoors, which eliminates a large burden imposed on the pet resulting from a slippery wooden flooring, a bruise caused by pet nail which often extends into the top board of a flooring, and critical damage to the flooring such as odor, stain, mold, and peeling resulting from pet urination with strong odor which infiltrates inside a base material through a joint of the flooring material referred to as tongue or a gap underneath a baseboard on a wall.SOLUTION: A method for processing a new constructed or used wooden flooring includes injecting a silicone coating agent as a filler into a joint of the flooring referred to as a tongue part and a gap underneath a baseboard so as to form a structure. In addition, the whole of the flooring is applied with a UV cured acrylic coating as a base coat and with a silicone coating as a top coat, so that the strength of the coating layer and the durability against pet contamination are enhanced. The wooden flooring can be thus used for a longer period.
