Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for decomposing a thermosetting resin, which can continuously decompose the thermosetting resin while adjusting the pressure at the time of decomposition reaction of the thermosetting resin even if impurities such as an inorganic solid and a high-viscosity resin are mixed in the thermosetting resin.SOLUTION: The apparatus for continuously decomposing the thermosetting resin by using a high-temperature high-pressure field includes: a supplier 10 for supplying the thermosetting resin to be processed while pulverizing it; an extruder 11 for pressurizing the supplied thermosetting resin while heating it; a medicine injection mechanism 16 connected to a region positioned downstream of a region of the extruder where the thermosetting resin is heated and pressurized and injecting a temperature-regulated medicine; a decomposition reaction pipe 12 provided downstream of the extruder and decomposing the thermosetting resin; a pressure-regulating mechanism 13 provided on a discharge port of the decomposition reaction pipe and regulating the pressure inside of the decomposition reaction pipe; and a decomposition product-recovering mechanism 15 provided downstream of the pressure-regulating mechanism and recovering a decomposition product thus decomposed. The pressure-regulating mechanism includes two or more valves for controlling the cross-sectional area of a fluid path by driving a piston.
