Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and an electronic timepiece which can identify the number of satellites from which satellite signals can be received.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus (wrist watch 1) includes: display means 2 for displaying predetermined information; reception means 6 for locating a positional information satellite and receiving a satellite signal transmitted from the positional information satellite; and control means 7 for controlling the display means 2. The control means 7 includes a satellite counting unit 76 for counting the number of satellites for display that are to be displayed as the number of the positional information satellites from which satellite signals can be received out of the positional information satellites located by the reception means 6, and a display control unit 77 for displaying the number of the satellites for display on the display means 2.
