Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanofiber that is superior in water absorbing properties and water holding properties, and is useful to a wound dressing having biocompatibility.SOLUTION: The nanofiber is produced by the steps of: a preparing step of preparing a solution of a hydrophilic solvent, which contains a high polymer compound, hyaluronic acid and a crosslinking agent of the high polymer compound; a fiber-forming step of obtaining a fiber from the solution obtained in the preparing step by using an electrospinning method; and a crosslinking step of crosslinking the high polymer compound after the fiber-forming step. The obtained nanofiber is a composite of the high polymer compound having a crosslinked structure and hyaluronic acid. When the high polymer compound is polyvinyl alcohol and the crosslinking agent is glutaraldehyde, polyvinyl alcohol can be crosslinked by treating the fiber obtained in the fiber-forming step by using a hydrogen chloride gas.
