Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sheath material for a wire harness for use in supplying electricity to be connected to a sliding seat and enable efficient harness routing to be carried out in a harness routing space.SOLUTION: The wire harness is inserted through a side space of a seat rail for a slide seat, and the wire harness is sheathed with a knockdown caterpillar-type protector having a quadrangular tubular shape. The protector is provided with four folding lines extending in a length direction at intervals in an intermediate portion in a width direction in a belt-shaped flat plate, provided with locking projection pieces at one of both side edges in the width direction, and provided with locking holes for inserting and locking the locking projection pieces therein at the other side edge, is formed into the quadrangular tubular shape by being folded along the folding lines, maintains the quadrangular tubular shape by inserting and locking the locking projection pieces in the locking holes, and further is formed into a shape joined foldably by separating three sides of the quadrangular tube by providing, at intervals in the length direction, cutting lines in the width direction that connect the four folding lines.
