BUMPER MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a bumper outer circumferential wall part interferes with a car body to cause fears that a coating film on a bumper outer end part is peeled off and the appearance is deteriorated and the dimensional accuracy of two parts of a bumper outer circumferential wall part and a bumper attaching bracket are necessary to be improved to maintain the appearance quality and thereby manufacture cost is increased.SOLUTION: A bumper mounting structure has a first rib 6a provided on a surface of a bumper flange 6 in a vehicle flange 2 side and arranged along a corner part of the car body outside and a second rib 6b positioned more inside the car body than the first rib 6a. It is the most important characteristic that the gap between the first rib 6a and the car body flange 2 is larger than that between the second rib 6b and the car body flange 2.
