CAPSULE TYPE ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-diameter capsule type endoscope 10 stably operated.SOLUTION: The capsule type endoscope 10 has a case 11 in which a plurality of connection units 27 are folded by 180 degrees, in a circuit board 20 having a plurality of board units 21-26 each arranged in a row via the connection units 27, respectively, and the plurality of board units 21-26 are arranged such that the main surface of each board unit is orthogonal to the axis O of the case 11. The capsule type endoscope includes: a vibrator unit 22C; a first imaging chip 22A connected to the vibrator unit 22C via two signal lines, and generating a clock signal, and also acquiring first image data in accordance with the generated clock signal; a second imaging chip 25A acquiring second image data in accordance with the clock signal transmitted by one signal line from the first imaging chip 22A; and a transmission unit 23A wirelessly transmitting the first image data and the second image data.
