Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell in which dendrites are not generated at all and which has high safety, cycle characteristics, and moldability.SOLUTION: The air cell comprises an anode 4 provided with an organic compound having oxidation-reduction capability as an active material, a cathode 1 provided with an oxygen reduction catalyst, and an electrolyte 5 disposed between the anode 4 and the cathode 1. As the organic compound, a redox polymer which contains a residue having oxidation-reduction capability per repeating unit of the polymer is used.
