Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a bumper structure by joining a bumper reinforcement and a stay material by electromagnetic forming, while eliminating the following problems: when a jointed bumper structure is subjected to aging treatment, aging efficiency is poor (many spaces are formed in a furnace when a lot of bumper structures are stacked), or accuracy after aging treatment is reduced.SOLUTION: A first stay material formed by cutting a temper T1 6000 series aluminium alloy extrusion into a predetermined size is expanded by electromagnetic forming to form a cylindrical part protruding rearward to have relatively large diameter. A second stay material having an attachment flange 11 is formed at a rear end. The second stay material is aged to have temper T5, and fitted from the rear into holes 7, 8 formed in front and rear vertical walls 3, 4 of a bumper reinforcement 1 formed of the temper T5 7000 series aluminium alloy extrusion. A portion located more forward than the rear vertical wall 4 is expanded by electromagnetic forming, to join them. |
