SEMICONDUCTOR LIGHT-EMITTING DEVICE, AND LED LAMP USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED device which can wide light distribution characteristics when a light-emitting part is installed near a center of a globe, has a simple structure, and facilitates manufacturing; and an LED lamp using the LED device.SOLUTION: An LED die 12 is mounted at a tip end of a columnar circuit substrate 13. A part cutting off light emitted from the LED die 12 is small, so that wide light distribution can be obtained. If the tip end of the circuit substrate 13 which is a light-emitting part is disposed near a center of a globe 21, an LED lamp 30 having wide light distribution can be obtained. Main components constituting the LED device 10 are only the LED die 12 and the circuit substrate 13, so that the structure is simple. The tip end of the circuit substrate 13 is flat, so that a well-known mounting method such as wire bonding and flip-chip mounting can be applied to the LED die 12.
