INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD, INFORMATION RECORDER AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method capable of performing multi-valued recording with a simple configuration, an information recorder and a recording medium.SOLUTION: The information recorder for recording multi-valued information on a recording medium made of a layered molecular crystal includes a stage for mounting the recording medium, a heat probe arranged facing the mounted recording medium, a heating mechanism for heating the heat probe, movement means for moving a relative position of the recording medium and the heat probe, and a detection mechanism for detecting a flexible amount of the heat probe, presses the heat probe while heating the heat probe by the heating mechanism, forms in a recording layer a pore whose depth is controlled by controlling the number of layers into which the heat probe gets, and records multi-valued information by counting the number of occurrences of a step-wise change in the flexible amount of the heat probe detected by the detection mechanism.
