Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor capable of further precisely detecting the short-circuit abnormality of a signal line, and a rotation angle detector.SOLUTION: A resolver 2 has: three resolver coils 23-25 disposed separately in a circumferential direction R1 of a rotor 20; and an exciting coil 22 for producing a magnetic field on the basis of energization so as to induce voltage in the resolver coils 23-25. When the magnetic field added from the exciting coil 22 to the three resolver coils 23-25 with rotations of the rotor 20 changes, voltage induced in the resolver coils 23-25 changes to output three-phase signals Va-Vc changing amplitude in a sine wave shape to a rotation angle of the rotor. When angles between positions of adjacent resolver coils of the first to third resolver coils 23-25 which shift in a circumferential direction R1 of the rotor 20 are made to be first to third division angles 1- 3, all of the first to third division angles 1- 3 are set to be difference values. |
