Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image analyzing device that eliminates the necessity of using much spectrum data resulting from measurement of many samples of an object to be analyzed.SOLUTION: An RGB extraction unit 231 extracts RGB data from image data of an object read by a reader 10. A parameter storage unit 241 has stored therein a transformation matrix for generating spectrum data based on data. A spectrum characteristics calculation unit 242 calculates spectrum characteristics by using the RGB data and the transformation matrix to generate spectrum data. The transformation matrix is a most suitable one selected from a plurality of transformation matrices generated by using a plurality of extracted data groups extracted from multiple pieces of arbitrary spectrum data.
