STENCIL PRINTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably control the conveyance speed of stencil printing original paper without newly providing a detection means.SOLUTION: A stencil printing apparatus includes: a pulse motor 65 for a platen which conveys the stencil printing original paper; a thermal head 67 which heats and perforates the stencil printing original paper while pressing the stencil printing original paper with the pulse motor 65 for the platen; a cutter member 68 which cuts the stencil printing original paper having been heated and perforated; a stencil printing original paper conveyance detection sensor 71 which detects the front end and rear end of the stencil printing original paper being conveyed; and a control part 20 which corrects the conveyance speed of the pulse motor 65 for the platen based upon the time from the point of time when the stencil printing original paper conveyance detection sensor 71 detects the front end of the stencil printing original paper having been conveyed is detected to the point of time when the rear end of the stencil printing original paper having been cut by the cutter member 68 is detected, and the angle of rotation of a drum rotated while holding the front end of the stencil printing original paper on the drum, and controls the pulse motor 65 for the platen based upon the corrected conveyance speed.
