Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flux composition which can suppress formation of a high melting point compound when used for brazing of the aluminum alloy material containing magnesium and improving wettability even when the coating amount is small in order to enhance brazing properties, and a brazing sheet using the flux composition.SOLUTION: The flux composition used for brazing of the aluminum alloy material containing magnesium includes a flux component [A] with fluoride as the main component, and one or more kinds of additives [B] selected from the group of CeF, BaF, and ZnSO. The flux component [A] contains KF and AlF, and preferably, in the flux component [A], the content of KF is 40 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less, and the content of AlFis 40 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less.
