Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally-simplified safety fence capable of being housed/expanded by a simple operation and capable of being compactly folded in storage.SOLUTION: A safety fence includes a plurality of supports 2 which are disposed in a standing attitude at intervals along a width end of a floor board 1 forming a passage, and a plurality of cross rails 3 which are laid among the supports 2 and which are swingably connected to the supports 2 via a pivot, respectively. The supports 2 are connected, in a manner to be able to tilt/erect, to shaft parts 5 which are provided below a tread of the floor board 1 and each have an axis along the width direction of the floor board 1.
