SOLUBILIZATION TREATMENT METHOD OF WATER-INSOLUBLE ORGANIC MATTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversion treatment method by which insoluble organic matter, included in wastewater discharged from a laver processing production process or the like, and organic sludge, produced by precipitation and deposition of the insoluble organic matter, are subjected to conversion treatment to obtain water-soluble matter.SOLUTION: Electrolytic functional water 4, obtained by electrolysis of an aqueous solution 2 containing electrolytes such as sodium chloride and sodium sulfate by using an iridium oxide-containing electrode or a conductive diamond electrode as an anode, is directly added to the wastewater 1 including the insoluble organic matter or to the organic sludge to cause conversion treatment of the insoluble organic matter to water-soluble matter.
