DOCUMENT SEARCH KEYWORD PRESENTATION DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a search keyword for searching for regional information matching the level of a searcher's region familiarity.SOLUTION: A document search keyword presentation method includes: when coordinates of the user terminal are inputted, calculating a user's region familiarity that is estimated about the region around the coordinates on the basis of history of the user's past positions obtained by referring to a user terminal history database storing past position information about a user terminal, on the basis of the coordinates; and selecting a feature expression on the basis of an entry corresponding to the coordinates and the user's region familiarity by referring to a coordinate-to-feature-expression correlation database which stores scores representing correlation between geographical coordinates and feature expressions and likelihood of the feature expressions, a total required region familiarity being a total of region familiarities that define how much region familiarity is required, and the number of found documents, on the basis of the inputted current coordinates of the user terminal, and outputting the feature expression as a search keyword.
