Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device for suppressing the hazardous state of a vehicle whereby the hazardous state can be suppressed before the vehicle speed becomes undesirably high when the driver has depressed an accelerator in error instead of a brake.SOLUTION: A control part constituting a misoperation preventive system acquires repetitively the acceleration information which shows the information of the accelerator manipulated variable, and on the basis of the acceleration information, determines that the driver has depressed the accelerator in error instead of the brake (S150, S160) if the accelerator manipulated variable has dropped by a drop threshold or more within a given drop decision time period, after which it has risen within a given rise decision time period. If the depression error is determined, the acceleration of the vehicle is mitigated (S290). According to this system, the acceleration of the vehicle can be suppressed immediately when the accelerator manipulated variable has dropped, after which it has risen, so it is possible to suppress the acceleration before the vehicle speed increases.
