Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed control material and a weed controlling method which can be applied to soil extremely easily and also exhibit a weed controlling effect for a long term without degradation or outflow due to wind and rain.SOLUTION: A weed control material is obtained by mixing sediment and 0.9-2.0 g/cmof polymer chips with bulk density equal to or larger than that of the sediment. The content of the polymer chips is 15 to 70 wt.%. In a weed controlling method, the weed control material is dispersed so as to cover a ground surface.
