DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADDING POWDERY ADDITIVE FOR DESULFURIZATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for adding a powdery additive for a desulfurization apparatus, which can mix a solid-state powdery additive with a compressed gas evenly without using a dispenser tank of a high-pressure tank.SOLUTION: The device for adding a powdery additive for a desulfurization apparatus includes: a hopper 3 for storing the powdery additive; an ejector part 9 for feeding the compressed gas to cause a vacuum suction force to act on the powdery additive falling by gravity from the hopper 3, and involving the powdery additive into the compressed gas; and a lance 6 for top-blowing the powdery additive that has been involved into the compressed gas in the ejector part 9, to a molten iron to add the powdery additive to the molten iron.
