Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation apparatus capable of corresponding to the width dimension of a workpiece by the number of ultraviolet lamps without needing adjustment of a discharge tube length to fit in the width of the workpiece, capable of saving electric power and capable of simplifying the exchange operation of a part of ultraviolet lamps and also an external wiring.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation apparatus 100 has a plurality of linear tubular ultraviolet lamps 5, and the longitudinal direction of each lamp 5 is parallel to each other. The longitudinal direction of each lamp 5 is disposed parallel to a workpiece-conveying direction or is disposed inclining at a prescribed angle with respect to the workpiece-conveying direction. The apparatus comprises an ultraviolet irradiation unit 10 with a plurality of unitized ultraviolet lamps 5.
